Progress tracking and reporting

Construction progress tracking and progress reporting, tied to the schedule

Percent complete in a spreadsheet is a guess. Plan104 tracks construction progress from what the site actually shows: drone, 360 and camera scans tied to each schedule activity, compared with the plan, and reported back to the scheduler and the owner.

How progress tracking works on the platform

  1. The schedule defines what to check. The platform reads the CPM schedule and selects the activities that should be in progress or complete.
  2. The site is captured. Drone flights, 360 photos and site cameras capture those areas. See drone progress monitoring.
  3. Progress is verified by activity. Every photo and scan is filed under its activity, so progress is documented, not just reported.
  4. The report goes back to the schedule. Verified progress flows into the schedule update and flags production loss before it becomes delay.

Progress reports that owners trust

Weekly progress reports

Planned versus actual by area, trade and activity, with the photos that prove it.

Production loss alerts

Activities falling behind their planned rate show up early, while there is still time to recover.

As-built documentation

An activity by activity record of the work, ready for owner reviews, pay applications and delay claims.

Manpower and productivity

See how many people worked on each activity and how much was installed. Daily reports

Connected to scheduling

Progress tracking is where our two services meet. Our construction scheduling services team uses verified progress from the platform for every P6 schedule update, so the schedule reflects the site, not opinions.

Frequently asked questions

What is construction progress tracking software?

Software that measures how much work is complete on a construction project and compares it with the plan. Plan104 ties progress to each CPM schedule activity and verifies it with drone and site scans.

How does Plan104 verify progress?

Drone flights, 360 photos and site cameras capture the areas the schedule says should be in progress, and every photo is documented under its activity.

Can progress reports feed the schedule update?

Yes. Verified progress flows into the Primavera P6 schedule update, which is one of the reasons we provide scheduling and the platform together.

Who receives the progress reports?

Project managers, schedulers, superintendents and owners can all see the same verified progress for every activity.
